Follow one of the following general rules:

Identify the stain:

The more you know about what caused the stain, the more likely it is to treat it properly. This means that you have a better chance of removing it, in addition to being less likely to fix it if you use the wrong treatment. When in doubt, rinse or soak in cold water before washing or applying a stain removal product.

Check if the garment fades:

Test the product you are going to use to remove the stain in a hidden part of the garment or inside a seam, and if the color is affected, do not use that product.

Organic Solvents:

Make sure Organic Solvents evaporate completely before washing.

- Rinse products to remove stains before washing.

- Always use them in a well-ventilated place.

- Follow the manufacturer's instructions when available.

Always remove stains on the reverse side of the garment:

Work from the reverse. Put the stained side down on an absorbent surface such as clean, white paper towels. Change paper towels often to prevent the garment from being dyed again.

Treat the stain immediately:

The earlier you attack the stain, the easier it will be to remove it. Check if the stain came out or not on the wet clothes fresh from the washing machine before putting it in the automatic dryer. If the stain has not come out, pretreat it and wash it again, do not put it in the automatic dryer until it is completely removed or you could permanently fix the stain.

Pretreat the stain:

Pre-treat with liquid detergent or with a paste made with powdered detergent and a little water. First, do a fade test in a poorly visible area of ​​the garment. Then wash the entire garment with detergent.

Don't ruin it:

Clean the stain from the outside inwards do not scrub it because excessive scrubbing can damage the fibers or the finish, remove the color or spread the stain.
