The best tips to wash table cloth:

We mostly all use table cloth especially on the dining table, and it is one of the materials that stain. Sometimes the stains are very stubborn and cannot remove it easily.

If you are planning to wash your table cloth, the following tips will be helpful to you.

1. Choose the right program:

Always stick to the program recommendation on the care label: delicates, wool wash cycle, easy-care, etc. If you no longer have the label or you are not sure, then in case of doubt always choose the gentler wash cycle.

Modern washing machines "weigh" the laundry and automatically meter the water, depending on the quantity. Nevertheless, you must not fill your washing machine too full to avoid wrinkling of table linen and scouring damage.

There should still be at least one first place in the drum. It is better to leave 2/3 of the washing machine empty or to fill it only to the upper edge of the porthole.

2. Set the appropriate temperature:

Please keep to the temperature on the care label. Colorful, slightly soiled table linen is usually washed at 30 - 40 ° C, white table linen is cleaned with modern washing machines at 40 - 60 °. Please do not use a lower or higher temperature
than indicated on the label.

3. Use the appropriate detergent:

Fine, color or heavy-duty detergent? Only if washing on a care label is
recommended for gentle washing, a mild detergent should be used to wash your table linen.
If this is not the case, you can wash it with normal color detergent. Heavy-duty detergents contain bleach and optical brighteners and should only be used for white laundry. Note the dosage recommendation of the washing machine manufacturer and the hardness of the water.

Tablecloths coated with stains (e.g. with an acrylic layer) must never be washed with wool detergent as this may cause the fibers to stick together and destroy the coating.

The same applies to the softener. In addition, you should refrain from chlorinated and bleached products, as they can attack and fade the material.

Professional tip from Laundry service experts: Wet laundry has a lower tear resistance than dry laundry. Therefore always treat with care and take it carefully out of the washing machine.
