Detergents
are available in abundance on the market. For each stain, another detergent is
recommended. But do we need so many different powders, gels, and tabs? What is
the difference between powder and liquid detergent?
In our
guide, liox cleaners & laundry will
inform you about the different varieties and their mode of action. You will
learn what dosage you should make and how to properly add liquid detergent.
1. The use of liquid detergent - this
will keep your laundry clean:
Not always
the middle compartment is intended for the main wash.
Again and
again, you will read that you should give liquid detergent directly into the
drum. The addition of detergent can easily be done via the filling device of
your washing machine. You can use the same tray that you use for powder.
As a rule,
the washing drawer is divided into three parts. The individual subjects are
labeled and there is a sign on which should explain what content it is
intended. Unfortunately, neither the order nor the icons are consistent, so you
should look into the user manual of your washing machine.
Often the
middle compartment is intended for the main wash. The other two compartments
mark for prewash and softener. The use of softener is usually indicated by the
fact that it is the smallest compartment and is also marked with a flower or a
similar symbol.
For the
regular laundry, you only need the compartment for the main wash. This applies
to color and fine as well as heavy-duty detergents.
If you also
use a disinfectant for sports textiles or underwear, put it in the softener
compartment.
On fabric
softener itself, however, you should completely abstain. Although the
substances contained to ensure that your textiles feel cuddly soft. However,
fabric softeners can cause allergies due to the many fragrances and softeners
contained and are very polluting.
2. Dose liquid detergent correctly:
To remove
stains and not put too much strain on your laundry, the addition of detergent
should be measured accurately. With too much detergent often residues remain in
your clothes. Also, you burden the environment and your wallet unnecessarily.
If you dose
the concentrate too weakly, the cleaning effect will not suffice and the
laundry may stink even though you have washed it.
Many
detergent manufacturers provide liquid detergents with practical filling aids,
so you do not have to do without dosing. Alternatively, you can get a free
dosing aid from various manufacturers.
If you have
no idea which detergent you will need, you can use liox cleaners & laundry.
