The best tips to save electricity when washing clothes:

If you have children, you are almost always busy dealing with stubborn stains and coping with real laundry mountains. And so it is no wonder that the washing machine, tumble dryer and iron are almost always in operation.

However, there is good news, because usually, you can save electricity with little effort. Read on to know. The best tips offered by a commercial laundry.

1. The washing machine always optimally loaded:
A washing machine can only really work efficiently if it is optimally loaded. So if you do not fill the drum regularly completely, you are losing money. Even devices with a modern automatic charging system only really save electricity and water effectively when they are fully loaded. The optimum amount of charge for an average standard color wash program can be found on the energy label of the machine.

2. Use the hot water connection:
If you have a hot water connection that is not too far from the washing machine, you should connect it to the washing machine if the appliance supports such a connection. The measure is worthwhile, however, only if the hot water is not using an electric water heater.

3. Use low wash temperatures:
For every degree that a liter of water has to be heated, energy consumption increases disproportionately. Consequently, it makes sense to run the washing machine at 40 degrees Celsius and not at 60 degrees. Higher washing temperatures only make sense if the clothes are heavily soiled. And thanks to modern detergents, which develop their power even at low temperatures, the laundry is radiantly pure even at 40 degrees.

4. Forgo pre-washing:
As well as high washing temperatures, it is worthwhile to use the pre-wash only for heavily soiled garments. As a rule, the pre-wash program is, therefore, a waste of water and electricity.

5. Always pretreat stubborn stains:
Even with grass or red wine stains, prewash is not essential. If these otherwise stubborn stains are pretreated with appropriate measures, they can be removed in the washing machine with the help of a low-tempered wash program without prewashing. Grass stains in children's denim pants can be effectively pretreated, for example, with a thick sugar paste.

6. Choose the correct spin:
As suggested by commercial laundry, the spin cycle with 1,000 revolutions is sufficient for the drying of linen, the washing machine should spin the laundry at 1,200 revolutions per minute for optimum energy savings in the tumble dryer.
