Are you not able to remove Iron Spots? Read this:

Iron spots happen sometimes, especially when ironing dark clothes, especially cotton. There are often white edges on the fabric, which are unsightly in the overall work, but avoidable if a lot is considered.
In general, the iron is set too hot, so that by overheating deformations of the fabric arise and the resulting white edges in the form of the iron edge.

Another form of white patches may be lime, which is exuded through the holes in the steam iron and ironed. As a rule, they are only loose on the fabric and can be shaken off. In both cases, the following tips can avoid the edges or not even arise.

Here we New York Laundry will give you the best tips and tricks to remove spots.

Often the iron is set too hot, so choose a lower temperature. Although the ironing process takes longer, the fabric is spared and there are no ironing stains. Lime dissolves only at high temperature.

To iron, use a damp cloth (flatten), which you first put on the garment and then iron hot.

Turn the clothes to the left and if stains occur, they will not be noticed.

Use distilled water for steam ironing, then no lime is produced.

If stains have nevertheless developed, they can be rendered invisible by dilution with dilute citric acid or vinegar water.

Carefully dosing, otherwise, new edges will be created after drying. (100 ml of water about a ½ teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar) Attention; there should not be any fibers of the lemon.

As a rule, the edges disappear again at the next wash.

If you do not have an ironing board, you can also iron it on the table, but you should choose the appropriate base, otherwise ugly ironing stains and edges will appear on the table.

    Use heat-resistant surface (cotton blanket)

If the paint (shellac seal or similar) is white, often only the carpenter can remove the stain by sanding and repainting.

In light pallor is a furniture polish with dye content (teak color), the material rub in intensely, is no improvement to see, try again.

If the table is waxed, the spot can be removed by rubbing and polishing with a cotton cloth. Then oil.

Of course, the safest is the purchase of an ironing board. If you are not able to remove spots, do not hesitate to contact New York Laundry.
